Antonia (Toni) McClain PCMSW, PLMHP, earned her Bachelors degree in Social Work through Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. She went on to earn her Master of Social Work with a sub-concentration in Military Social Work in 2016 through the University of Southern California.
Toni began working in a high school with behaviorally challenged adolescents and moved on to working in a boys group home when she discovered her passion for this profession. She continued working for mental health agencies and also at two Job Corps locations. The military brought her family to Nebraska in 2017, where she worked as an Intensive Family Preservation Therapist for two years.
Toni has a large family of her own and has personal experience in overcoming traumatic events. She believes that therapy is something that can be personalized to fit individuals and families in meeting them for their individual needs and personalities in a way that provides healing and empowerment. Toni has training in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and experience with CBT and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). She has also provided training in Trauma Informed Care and Women’s Self Defense.
