During this course offenders and victims will learn about the devastating impacts of exposing children to domestic violence. They will learn that by exposing their children to domestic violence this could have a negative impact on them developmentally, emotionally, behaviorally, physically, and socially for their rest of their lives. By completing the course offenders will have an understanding that if they continue to expose their children to any and/or all forms of domestic violence that their actions alone could have a long term negative impact on their children and increase the chances that this violence will continue in their children’s family in the future. Following completion of the course, participants are asked to sign a voluntary waiver acknowledging an understanding of the above and agreeing to abstain from exposing their children to domestic violence in the future.
