Lavonda McClinton, MS, PLMHP
Lavonda graduated from the University of Nebraska - Omaha with a Bachelors in Human Resources and Family Science with a a minor in Psychology. Lavonda later graduated from Bellevue University with a Master in Mental Health Counseling.
Lavonda has experience working in many different environments including variety of social service positions, teens in juvenile detention centers, group homes, collaborating with inpatient and outpatient drug treatment facilities, and homeless shelters. Overcoming her own personal traumatic experiences, Lavonda has the ability to connect with individuals and families, to bridge sensitive topics and teach strategies and techniques that are useful in everyday life.
Lavonda started with Generation Hope in 2019 as a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner. Lavonda has received training in TF-CBT and has experience in CBT and DBT.
