Taylor Schoen, MSW, PCMSW & PLMHP

Taylor is a Provisional Certified Master Social Worker and a Provisional Licensed Mental Health Practitioner. She is working towards her independent license.

Taylor received a Bachelor's in Science at Nebraska Wesleyan University and her Master's in Social Work at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Her education focused on psychology, children services, and mental health.   

Taylor has experience working with children in many areas including child care, foster care, school programs, and with Jenda Family Services as an Intensive Family Preservation Therapist. She has worked with many age groups including adults, adolescents and children. She enjoys working with young children.

Taylor enjoys working with trauma based symptoms and anxiety based symptoms. She has been trained in TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and experience with CBT and DBT (Dialiectical Behavior Therapy). She has always enjoyed learning about trauma and how resilient trauma survivors can be.  She wants to help those who have been through hardship to see how strong they are and how they do not have to be defined by their trauma, but by their story of overcoming it.
